Real-Time 20 and 25 Gbit/s Pre-Equalized C-band Transmission With Electrical Duo-binary Detection
We experimentally demonstrate real-time C-band transmissions with up to 29 dB optical budget after 25 km propagation at 20 Gbit/s and 25 Gbit/s. Our solution uses pre-equalization and electro-optical components dedicaded for 10 Gbit/s transmissions.
متن کاملDesignCon 2006 Practical Design Considerations for 10 to 25 Gbps Copper Backplane Serial Links
There is a general consensus that 10 Gbps copper backplane serial links will be deployed in the near future. This paper takes a look at the practical and cost effective design aspects of the 1012.5 Gbps links as well as the feasibility and requirements for the next generation of serial links operating in the 20-25 Gbps range. The design aspects considered include choice of various dielectric ma...
متن کاملReal-time DSP for sophomores
We are developing a sophomore course to serve as a first course in electrical engineering. The course focuses on discrete-time systems. Its goal is to give students an intuitive understanding of concepts such as sinusoids, frequency domain, sampling, aliasing, and quantization. In the laboratory, students build simulations and real-time systems to test these ideas. By using a combination of hig...
متن کاملReal-Time Interference Detection in Tracking Loop of GPS Receiver
Global Positioning System (GPS) spoofing could pose a major threat for GPS navigation ‎systems, so the GPS users have to gain a better understanding of the broader implications of ‎GPS.‎ In this paper, a plenary anti-spoofing approach based on correlation is proposed to distinguish spoofing effects. The suggested ‎method can be easily implemented in tracking loop of GPS receiver...
متن کاملFractal Bandpass Filter Using Y-shaped Dual-Mode Resonator for C-Band Receiver (Research Note)
In this study, a fractal, Y-shaped dual-mode resonator bandpass filter (BPF) with input-output cross-coupling is introduced. A parallel-coupling feed structure with a cross coupling has been used to generate two transmission zeroes (TZs) near the lower and upper cutoff frequency that can effectively improve the passband edge selectivity. Also, a fractal shaped based on conventional diamond and ...
